A genuine antique Albertina chain with T-Bar, swivel fastener and decorative tassle.
Length is approximately 10 1/2 inches.
An Albertina watch chain is very similar to an Albert watch chain, the only difference being that typically an Albertina watch chain is more decorative. An Albertina usually includes design motifs that were quintessential to the Victorian era, these include: tassels, hearts, fobs, and balls all of which were heavy decorated with chased gold work or deeper ornate engravings.
Albert chains were worn from the sixteenth century but became popular as a style of watch chain worn by Prince Albert during the Victorian period. The Albert style went to a T-bar that tucked into a buttoned buttonhole of the waistcoat. From there a further small length of chain hung, to which the wearer attached decorative charms such as fraternity or lodge symbols. The double Albert was a chain draped between both watchpockets, with the T-bar and pendant chain in the middle.

Your item will be deliveried by Royal Mail Secure Post who aim to deliver the next day, unless it is a larger item then it will go second class signed for - all deliveries you are able to track via the Royal Mail Website.
A £10 delivery charge will be added to all orders of £250 and under, orders over £250 will qualify for Free Delivery.
On overseas deliveries we can offer the option of DHL Two Day Delivery
If we receive your order before 1 pm Monday - Friday your order will be despatched on that day providing that you haven't ordered multiple items from different branches; if so orders can take between 1-3 days to dispatch.
Jewellery will be sent using Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery guaranteed before 1pm although due to COVID this may be a little later.
Gifts will be sent using Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class.

International Delivery
Delivery via International Signed For (International Airsure where available) will be charged at a rate of £30 per order within Europe, and £60 per order for Rest of the World.
